Growing up in the 1980's, some of my favorite toys belonged to the 3 and 3/4 inch tall G.I. Joe action figure line. After purchasing a few vintage Joes a while back on Ebay, I enjoyed the nostalgia that they provided and decided to start collecting. Ebay provided an endless supply, but I had one problem -- how much were they actually worth? I was surprised to see some carded figures selling for hundreds of dollars. An Ebay auction alone is a good barometer of an item's value, but was I getting a good deal on a particular auction, or was I overpaying?

I searched all over the internet for a GI Joe price guide, but could not find one. I ended up buying a collector's book and watching thousands of auctions to get a feel for what individual G.I. Joe figures and vehicles were worth. Not only did I learn a great deal about the 1980's Joes, I also became educated about the figures and vehicles that were sold during the early 1990's -- all the way up to the toys being sold today.

Currently listed are all official figure and vehicle releases from 1982 to 2001 and a few the more collectable and rare figures beyond that point. I have had many collectors comment on the site and all have been positive. There have been a few disagreements about certain prices and I greatly appreciate the input. The more input there is, the more accurate the prices and overall website will be. I hope this saves some people the massive amount of time I invested into finding out what these action figures were worth.

I almost forgot. I would like to give credit to some people and sources which allowed this site's birth in October of 2006 and also allow continued growth.
