GI JOE 1987 Figure Price Guide (Series 6)

Hasbro began to move GI Joe towards the science fiction realm in 1987. Several sub-groups appeared and included Sgt. Slaughter's Renegades, Battle Force 2000 and Cobra-La. The Battle Force 2000 figures came carded individually or in 2-packs. The carded 2-packs sell for about twice as much as those carded individually. There are rare vehicle drivers from this year, along with a very rare mail-away named Starduster. The Steel Brigade mail order figure was available for the first time. All versions throughout the length of the promotion are included on this page. The daily cartoon was cancelled but G.I. Joe: The Movie was released by Sunbow. |
